Rising Sun installed a Power Wall battery to our existing PV system. It is pretty high tech, not just an appliance, but works amazingly well here on Maui with our fragile power grid that goes out with every storm. Very professional group - worked on getting all permits in place and gave good advice on system design throughout. Major savings on our monthly electric bill - from $475 to less than $30 even with the air conditioning. The two Tesla power walls are also a great insulation from power outages.
